IRCC Releases Its Immigration Plans For 2023-2025

On November 1 , Canada announces its new immigration plans to boost their economy. Sean Fraser, the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada released the Immigration level plans of Canada to elevate immigration and to attract the newcomers; helping businesses to find workers. Canada is facing critical phase due to shortage of labour in various key sectors impacting the economy of Canada.

This plan focuses on the strategy to increase the number of skilled worker entering into the Canada. Last year, Canada invited 405,000 new foreign workers, the highest they have ever welcomed in a particular year, breaking all the previous records. This year, IRCC is hoping to invite around 432,000 immigrants.

The government is setting up goals in this new plan to give permanent residency to 465,000 immigrants by 2023, 485,000 by 2024 and 500,000 by 2025. The level plan is more focused to draw the attention of newcomers to small cities and rural communities, thus enhancing the stability and economic challenges the Canada will confront in the upcoming years.

This strategy helps to bind Canada’s position as one the leading nations in the world for talent, escalating economic growth and reuniting family members obligation humane commitments.
